This is my 19th bike, a 08 Gold Wing. I currently have a 06 Softail Harley, and I was in the market for a new touring bike. I have spent thousands at the Harley shop, (Last two bikes were Harleys) so I went in to look at a new Ultra Classic with a blank check in my pocket. After standing in the showroom for 20 minutes and being ignored, (one other customer in the store) my wife said, “we don't have to put up with this kind of attitude." We left and drove to Russellville Honda to look at Wings. We were met at the door by Earl Kirtley. I bought a new Wing within 30 minutes of shopping. It was such a refreshing experience dealing with Earl, (a guy who loves what he does) and everyone at Russellville Honda. I never felt any pressure or uneasiness at any time, unlike the feeling I had at the Harley shop. They thought they were doing me some favor selling me a Harley. After riding my Wing and looking back on the whole experience of buying my new bike, I can see why riders are trading in their Harleys for Gold Wings.
